General

Is CleverCare TESDA-accredited?

Yes. CleverCare Training Center, Inc. is a TESDA-accredited institution, and our Caregiving NC II program follows the official TESDA Training Regulations for Caregiving.

Are your teachers really registered nurses?

Yes. We're the only caregiving training center in Cebu where every class is designed and taught by registered nurse educators, not just caregivers, so you get a holistic, medically-grounded education alongside your NC II certification.

Which branches do you have?

Four branches across Cebu: Lapu-Lapu, Consolacion, Minglanilla, and Colon. All follow the same TESDA-aligned curriculum, so it doesn't matter which one you pick. See branch details.

Cost & payment

How much does the program cost?

Standard tuition is ₱25,200, paid in full before your start date. If you'd rather pay in installments, you can choose ₱4,000 × 7 months or ₱2,800 × 10 months, both totaling ₱28,000. On top of tuition, there's a one-time ₱1,750 enrollment fee and a ₱2,000 student kit fee (uniform, ID set, and textbook). See the full fee breakdown.

Do you offer scholarships?

Yes. TESDA scholarships, CleverCare scholarships, and OWWA scholarships are available for qualified applicants. Ask us about eligibility when you enroll or get in touch and we'll walk you through it.

What happens if I miss a payment?

A small late fee of ₱120 applies per delayed installment, capped at ₱480. If you're going through financial difficulty, you can pause your training and restart at no penalty within one year of enrolling, once fees are cleared.

Are there other costs beyond tuition?

A few, but most are optional or self-paced. On-the-job training starts at around ₱4,300, the graduation RSVP is ₱500, and official documents (certificates, transcript) are ₱1,500. Optional costs include vaccinations (up to ₱3,350, discounted on-site) and the NC II assessment fee — ₱1,365 for CleverCare students, with the assessment review included free (a ₱500 value). External candidates pay ₱1,865 (₱1,365 + ₱500 review fee). Full details on the program page.

Schedule & training

How long does the program take?

Most students graduate after 6–7 months of training, covering classroom instruction, on-the-job training, and your NC II assessment.

What does on-the-job training (OJT) involve?

Four one-week rotations — geriatric care, hospital care, disability & special needs care, and home management — for one month total. Hospital rotations run at Eversley Hospital, ACE Hospital, Mactan Med, and Cebu South General Hospital; elderly care at Loving Homes Nursing Care; disability and special needs at Sacred Hearts Rehab Center; and home management at CleverCare's own E-Plaza and Asha Plaza facilities.

Can I pause my training if life gets in the way?

Yes. Our academic policy lets you pause and restart your training as many times as needed within one year of enrolling, no penalty.

Certification & careers

What certification do I earn?

TESDA Caregiving NC II, a nationally-recognized qualification. It's the certification employers look for in caregiving roles.

What can I do with my NC II certification?

TESDA Caregiving NC II is a nationally-recognised qualification, and our graduates go on to caregiving work in a range of settings. CleverCare provides training and certification only — we are not a recruitment agency and do not arrange employment.

When is graduation?

We hold a graduation ceremony every August. The ₱500 RSVP downpayment to reserve your spot is due no later than May 15 of that year.
